MHP Health Strengthens Patient Advocacy Team
MHP Health has appointed Alison Dunlop – former Managing Director of MSL UK’s health business – with a brief to help strengthen our Patient Advocacy offer for clients across the health arena.
Alison has over 20 years’ experience leading overarching patient advocacy programmes, tailoring engagement strategies for clients such as GSK, Novartis, Pfizer and Janssen. She will work closely with Directors, Jonathon Shephard, who returned to the agency last year after a period managing external relations for the MS Society, and Arabella Moore, who joined MHP from Save the Children, building its expertise around global purpose-led campaigns and partnerships.
Commenting on her appointment, Alison said:
“I’m excited to be joining the Health team at MHP. The patient advocacy landscape has inevitably changed dramatically over recent months, resulting in a critical role for industry in helping to protect the future of patient communities. Fundamental to our partnerships with clients navigating this unchartered environment, is how best to ensure that the patient voice and needs are at the heart of exploring new integrated solutions to patient care.”
Kate Pogson, Head of Health at MHP, said
“I am beyond delighted that Alison has joined the team. Our mission is to create compelling campaigns which make policymakers understand and act on the needs of patients and the clinical community. To create authentic campaigns, they have to be rooted in patients’ lived experiences and this is why our growth into patient advocacy campaigning is a natural extension to our existing work.”
