MHP Mischief makes a key digital hire

MHP Mischief appoints Mario Theodorou as Digital Director. The new role will focus on digital innovation and multi-channel content

MHP Mischief have strengthened their combined digital capabilities with their first major hire since coming together earlier this year.

Mario Theodorou has taken up a new role as Digital Director within the newly formed Creative Services team and will be responsible for driving digital innovation across MHP Mischief’s client portfolio.

In this role, he advises clients on new ways of communicating with audiences to adapt to the restrictive environment created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Theodorou previously served as Head of Digital at News UK and as Managing Partner at Addiction London, before its acquisition by Mission. During his career, he has developed digital strategies for clients including B&Q, VOSS, Coca-Cola, Nomad Foods, Royal Mail, Post Office, KPMG and BAE Systems.

A novelist and writer for TV, film and radio, Theodorou will also play a leading role in the agency’s push into multi-channel content, building on the success of recent campaigns for clients including Astra Zeneca, Huawei, and Southampton FC.

Mario will report into Gemma Irvine, Head of Creative Services.
