Meet some of the team
Senior Account Manager, Health
I studied English Literature at Exeter University and knew I was interested in communication but wasn’t sure where to start career-wise. Having interned at MHP, I interviewed for and was accepted onto, the graduate scheme within the Health team. Within a short space of time, I was introduced to my clients and started on the journey of understanding NHS systems, health policy and the strange names of different treatments.
The team was incredibly supportive and it wasn’t long before I felt I was really getting to grips with the therapy areas in which I was working. Alongside this, I had a valuable secondment at mental health research charity, MQ, where I felt I could put my skills to use in a much-discussed area that was new for me. Having been a Health MHP-er for over a year now, I feel I have found my areas of focus and have been thoroughly supported throughout my training and development – I’m really positive about what’s next!
After spending the first three years of my career working in corporate communications at two well-known agencies, I joined MHP looking for something different; an agency where I wouldn’t be pigeonholed, where I could broaden my skill set and, importantly, stay for the long haul. More than seven years later, I’m still here and know that I made the right choice.
Not only has MHP given me the opportunity to move beyond corporate comms and into Financial PR, advising on everything from IPOs and major M&A activity to high-profile FTSE 250 accounts and some of the biggest and best AIM companies, it’s also allowed me to develop my creativity, working on integrated campaigns with so many talented teams across MHP and Engine.
But from my experience, MHP’s greatest asset is its people - an intelligent, interesting, encouraging and generous bunch - who support you every step of the way, making this a great place to work and an agency where your career can really take off.
I have been part of the MHP design team for two and a half years, having begun my career working in multi-disciplinary design and branding studios.
One of the great things about working at MHP is the variety of projects I have had the opportunity to be a part of. Working alongside the different client teams across a variety of sectors has allowed me to broaden my knowledge and skills immensely. Spanning the breadth of the business, our projects include creating event collateral and reports for Global Diabetes Forums, through to infographic animations, websites and toolkits for our energy clients.
The ever-changing nature of the industry, new technology and techniques mean the team and I are always learning. It’s busy – but never dull.

Senior Account Manager - Corporate / Consumer
Brand & Reputation
This person will be experienced in being part of campaigns which give national profile to organisations, in a way that positively impacts perceptions among consumer and/or corporate audiences.
We are looking for a Creative Director to join MHP, working centrally to support the entire business, from Brand to Capital Markets, Health to Financial Services. Creativity within the earned media space is key for this role, as well as the ability to work across all channels – paid, earned, social and owned. You will need to be able to develop creative concepts for content and experiences that will bring your campaigns to life.

This role requires a seasoned crisis practitioner who can help lead crisis preparedness projects and deliver crisis response for our growing roster of high-profile international clients.
Brand & Reputation
We are looking for an Associate Director or Director to join our newly formed Brand + Reputation team, reporting to Practice Head, Rachel Bower. As a senior member of the team, you will use your expertise to enhance our offering and reputation in strategic comms and be the catalyst to drive revenue growth across the business.

Our award-winning Public Affairs practice has an exciting opportunity for a new Director to join its expanding team. Established by Jamie Lyons and James Gurling in 2017, the Public Affairs practice has grown strongly, jumping six places in the PR Week league table rankings last year alone and trebling fee income since the practice was set up. In response to its growing client base, the practice requires a new Director to join its leadership team and help drive new business.
