Last night was a very good one for Heath Mandate, winning three prestigious Communique awards:

  • Communique Small Consultancy of the Year
  • Best Healthcare Policy Programme for our work for the Hepatitis C Trust and Roche on campaigning for the development of a liver strategy (this was won in partnership with the excellent Jane Allen from Principle Consulting who plays an integral role in delivering the Trust’s campaigning activity)
  • Writing Excellence for our work with the Rarer Cancers Foundation on near-label prescribing

For a policy-focused consultancy to win the Small Consultancy of the Year at a series of awards which are traditionally focused on PR and medical education is a fantastic testament to the work done by the team in delivering genuinely integrated campaigns, achieving important results on the issues which are fundamental to the future success of our clients.

There are any number of ways you can measure success – financial performance, quality of work, innovation, the results delivered for clients or the fun you had in achieving them. On all of these counts 2009 was a great year for Health Mandate. To earn this recognition is the icing on the cake.

We are very fortunate to have a gifted, motivated and passionate team who care deeply about delivering big results on the issues that really matter. Well done to all involved and long may it continue.
