Account Executive, Health
I studied English Literature at Exeter University and knew I was interested in communication but wasn’t sure where to start career-wise. Having interned at MHP, I interviewed for and was accepted onto, the graduate scheme within the Health team. Within a short space of time, I was introduced to my clients and started on the journey of understanding NHS systems, health policy and the strange names of different treatments.
The team was incredibly supportive and it wasn’t long before I felt I was really getting to grips with the therapy areas in which I was working. Alongside this, I had a valuable secondment at mental health research charity, MQ, where I felt I could put my skills to use in a much-discussed area that was new for me. Having been a Health MHP-er for over a year now, I feel I have found my areas of focus and have been thoroughly supported throughout my training and development – I’m really positive about what’s next!
Associate Director, Financial
After spending the first three years of my career working in corporate communications at two well-known agencies, I joined MHP looking for something different; an agency where I wouldn’t be pigeonholed, where I could broaden my skill set and, importantly, stay for the long haul. More than seven years later, I’m still here and know that I made the right choice.
Not only has MHP given me the opportunity to move beyond corporate comms and into Financial PR, advising on everything from IPOs and major M&A activity to high-profile FTSE 250 accounts and some of the biggest and best AIM companies, it’s also allowed me to develop my creativity, working on integrated campaigns with so many talented teams across MHP and Engine.

Senior Account Manager, Corporate Affairs
I help clients across a wide range of industries – everything from dairy to trains to precision metals – develop and execute stakeholder and corporate programs. The diversity of my clients, the complexity of challenges they deal with and the scale and significance of some of our campaigns are all aspects of the job that I find incredibly exciting. Few things are more satisfying than coming up with creative solutions to nuanced issues!
MHP is equally excellent for career development – ambition, diligence and intellect are rewarded, and there are always opportunities for more growth and responsibility. Having joined the team in the summer of 2016, I’m now leading on day-to-day delivery for several clients, allowing me to constantly try new ideas and develop skills.
I have been part of the MHP design team for two and a half years, having begun my career working in multi-disciplinary design and branding studios.
One of the great things about working at MHP is the variety of projects I have had the opportunity to be a part of. Working alongside the different client teams across a variety of sectors has allowed me to broaden my knowledge and skills immensely. Spanning the breadth of the business, our projects include creating event collateral and reports for Global Diabetes Forums, through to infographic animations, websites and toolkits for our energy clients.
The ever-changing nature of the industry, new technology and techniques mean the team and I are always learning. It’s busy – but never dull.

Marketing New Business Manager - 12 month contract
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled individual to lead the day to day implementation and execution of MHP’s marketing and new business activity.
The successful candidate will have experience working in an agency environment and an understanding of the PR industry. Previous experience of working in a marketing/new business capability in an agency context is preferred, however we would also be willing to look at candidates who have a more traditional client-based agency background and are looking for a change direction in their career.
We are looking for an Associate Director with strong experience in advising companies on their financial and corporate communications to join our award winning team. This role will encompass advising clients on their communications strategy, content and programmes, overseeing the planning and delivery of those programmes, taking an active role in the generation and conversion of new business, including developing your strong network, and directing and line managing colleagues.

Our intern programme offers positions across most of our practices. Our interns are paid more than the national minimum wage and are with us full time for eight weeks. We are currently recruiting for internships in the following practices: Health, Brand, Financial, Corporate Affairs and Design.
