MHP’s impressive achievements with Greener Journeys, the sustainable transport campaign group, were recognised with a prestigious industry prize at the UK Bus Awards.

The Gold Award for Sustained Marketing Excellence recognises the outstanding success of a string of Greener Journeys campaigns over recent years, all developed and delivered by the PR and Public Affairs client team at MHP.

Judges noted the “substantial achievements” these campaigns had delivered on behalf of the bus sector, including:

 ·         Our campaign on the Bus Pass, which helped secure a General Election manifesto commitment from all political parties to support a bus pass without means testing;

·         Our successful campaign to spare the Bus Service Operators’ Grant from cuts in the 2015 Spending Review; and

·         Our campaign for investment in bus infrastructure, which has been credited with the creation of the £580m Access Fund for Sustainable Travel.

MHP is very proud of our work with Greener Journeys over the past five years and is delighted to share in their success, particularly as the award recognises sustained success over a number of years.
